When you really, really, really don’t want dings.
This is the top of a five-story parking structure in the middle of the week and i t’s over 95 degrees outside.

Thats some serious commitment. I'd probably risk the shade off to the right.. or just not drive it into the city at all..

Totally risk the shade, but I grew up in the south.

That's exactly what happened five minutes after this picture was taken. Because assholes.

That’s a good day to park on the fourth deck and risk a door ding instead of multiple hood/roof/trunk dings. I’ll never forget when a friend of mine risked getting clonked on the head to throw a blanket over his freshly-painted car as the hail started falling. He managed to get it over the hood and windshield, but he didn’t have enough blanket for more. When he got back under cover, I reminded him that it’s easier to replace a hood than the roof of the car. “ Oh, well,” was his response.

I would imagine that off to the right are a decent number of empty spaces under that roof. Heat can do damage over time too.

Heat damage? Nah, that’s a feature, not a problem !

Hah! I worked with a guy that would disappear during lunch and come back smelling of weed and acting high as a kite. He didn’t last long in that job.

This is fantastic. Set it up in the morning, have dinner ready when you leave for home.
